Title: Approximation of group invariant functions by deep neural networks

Abstract: Maron et al proved that (finite) group invariant functions can be approximated by group invariant neural networks (On the universality of invariant networks, ICML'19).
I give a review of this paper. One of the technical key points is a theorem in algebra; the finite generation of invariant subrings, proved by Emmy Noether.

time: 13:00 - 14:00 + 30 min
